It's winter out there!
Freezing, frigid, beard-frosting cold!
Ok, maybe not, but it is pretty darn cool.
I'm OK with that.
After all, winter lasts a quarter of the year.

- I am a graduate Berea College, where I studied biology. Currently in Nashville at Vanderbilt Med Center as a researcher in a nephrology/biochem/biomed lab, and as a teacher and mentor to rural Arkansan and Vanderbilt students in the summer at VU. I also live in Bar Harbor, ME for part of the year. I am happily a biologist doing chemistry. Biochemistry = fun!
